Thank you Paul! I'll try not to let Nabokov comparisons go to my head. And I'll try to borrow that memoir if you have it. Poetic imagery + stream of consciousness is my preferred register.
I still have it! I couldn't finish it. It's for a more advanced reader than myself so I will gladly pass it on.
I'm sure in that case it'll go right over my head too, but sometimes that's the best kind of reading.
